The Coalition for Community Entrepreneurship (C4CE) envisions vibrant and thriving communities where local entrepreneurship flourishes, capital is accessible, innovative ideas are nurtured, and diverse pathways to entrepreneurship are navigated. We strive for a future where small businesses are empowered engines of economic progress and social well-being, and where individuals and communities have the support and resources they need to succeed.
Our Mission
The mission of the Coalition for Community Entrepreneurship (C4CE) is to increase awareness of the merits of community navigators and their role in empowering communities and advancing local entrepreneurship, supporting capital, fostering entrepreneurial innovation, and enabling new pathways to small business success.
These are C4CE’s four key priorities:
Advocate for the continuation and expansion of the Community Navigator Pilot
Program
By actively engaging in advocacy efforts, we ensure that this vital program receives the necessary support and resources to empower individuals and communities. C4CE strives to raise awareness among decision-makers and policymakers about
the indispensable impact of Community Navigators. We advocate for policies that enable the program to flourish, creating an environment where communities can thrive through
entrepreneurship. This includes underserved rural, urban and veteran communities.
Generate data and economic research information that demonstrates the tangible added
value of the Community Navigator Pilot Program
C4CE recognizes the significance of evidence-based advocacy. We diligently generate, analyze, and consolidate data and economic research to showcase the tangible value of the Community Navigator Pilot Program. Through comprehensive research, we provide compelling evidence of
the program's effectiveness in empowering individuals, fostering community development, and driving economic growth. By disseminating these insights widely, C4CE strengthens the case for continued support and investment in the program.
Create solidarity and ease communication amongst national navigator partners to accelerate
the services and effectiveness of the Community Navigator Pilot Program
C4CE fosters solidarity and facilitates seamless communication among national navigator partners to enhance the services and effectiveness of the Community Navigator Pilot Program. Through collaborative initiatives, including workshops, conferences, and online platforms, we
promote knowledge exchange and best practice sharing. By creating a supportive network, we empower Community Navigators to improve their skills and deliver even greater support to individuals and businesses. This collaborative approach accelerates the impact of the program and strengthens community entrepreneurship nationwide.
